Making Some Changes And Gifted Myself A Wooden Cigar Box

Business continues to be abysmal so I’ve decided to make some pretty serious changes that have gone really well and I gifted myself a really nice, cherry red wooden cigar boxes that I’m obviously using to store my prized cigars in. More on the cigars later but for now a bit about the biz…

Like I said business just continues to be abysmal so I decided to go the freelance and independent contractor route. I found a few websites online where you can look for freelance work and I went to town. The pay is not really good but it’s become a consistent source of income for me.

The thing I really don’t like is that #1 you don’t get paid all that well and you also have to go out and find and get the work by submitting offers and proposals to potential employers. Outside of that I’m really happy that I can get and find work this way. I’m actually doing with my business exactly what I originally intended to do. One business is a long-term product based business and the other is supposed to be more like a job that provides a steady income. I’m not sure where but somewhere along the line my second corp also turned into a long-term business…

Anyhow I’m going back to my original business plan and things are going well. So well that like I stated above I bought myself a wooden cigar box to keep my cigars fresh.

I don’t smoke too many cigars because they’re expensive and bad for you but I do have a friend that owns a cigar shop so he gives me the cigars at his cost which is awesome. Nothing like a fine cigar and a smooth brandy to finish off a log day of work!
