New Way Of Life And I’m Lost
August 19, 2009 12:18 am work from home dadSo fo those that don’t know the wife and I decided that I would quit my job and start a business from home and work from home basically from here on out until I can earn enough income so my wife can also quit her job.
Confused?
Good. Basically it’s the right move for us because before I quit my job we were both commuting over 50 miles to work each way. And to make matters worse we commute into Los Angeles so our commutes were averaging about 2-3 hours each way!
Yea not fun.
So here I am I’m working from home and the very first day i go in business my “business partner” calls me up and says he can’t do it… he can’t go into business with me because his wife thinks it’s too risky! mind you we’ve talking about going into business together for about a year and a half then all of a sudden no dice!
So I went forward anyhow and now I’m just lost because I’m out of money and I barely have enough sales to make a few hundred bucks a month. The big problem is a lack of credit availability and my lack of funds to market my products effectively.
For now I’ve decided to do some freelance work and I also took on a part-time night job to create some more income for myself. As for the business it’s on hold for now at least trying to grow it until I can come up with some more capital.
